Home improvement Ideas For Grants from FEMA

FEMA is offering millions in home improvement grants to Missourians who were affected by the severe tornadoes and flooding this summer. President Obama declared the area a federal disaster zone which qualified the state to receive almost $80 million in federal disaster grants and loans.

The period for individuals to register for assistance closed on August 26th, but FEMA continues to work directly with survivors in Missouri to get as many residents on the road to recovery as possible. Over $30 million in grants has already been approved to eligible residents to assist with housing and unemployment in the wake of the devastating storms that destroyed many homes and businesses. The SBA is one conduit for dispensing grants and low interest loans to businesses, homeowners and renters, as well as to nonprofit organizations who ware working to repair and rebuild damaged property.
